Occupy May Day!

I always like the radical song rebel girl :). Shout out to all my FWs (Fellow Workers) who are rebel girls.

Happy International Women’s Day to all women everywhere!

Today and tomarrow I am facing a major test as an activist (F28, and F29). This traditional song of my Albanian ancestors (Jam nga gjithë Shqipëria - I come from all over Albania) helps me go through the day sometimes.

The song basically tells the Albanian people to be united and strong; that’s what Occupy needs.

In honor of Kosova’s 4th anniversary (which was on 17.02.2008) I wish to dedicate this song Jam nga gjithe Shqipëria (I come from all over Albania by Liliana Kondakçi) to the new nation. 

I will not formally celebrate Kosova’s freedom though until all oppressed peoples across the world are liberated.
